Hyun Jung Kim

 

“I must be proactive in changing and challenging the existing gender norms. I also know that I cannot make gender equality a reality alone that is why I am a part of the Must Bol Campaign.”

Kim is a South Korean National who has been living and working in India for the past one year. A trained chemical engineer, Kim pursued her dream of working in the developmental sector by pursuing a degree in Social work and Women’s Studies from Saint Antonio Texas, U.S.A. she further specialized in the field of socio-economic development from the Washington University in Saint Louise, Missouri. Kim has since worked in the United States of America, Cambodia, South Korea and India. Her diverse and varied cultural experiences have given her a great insight of gender norms.
