“Life is God’s gift. We cannot choose the gender we are born into. And mere physical difference does not make either of the genders weak or strong. No one needs to suffer for what they are born as.”
Currently in her second year of Bachelors Degree in Psychology (Hons.) from Zakir Husain College (University of Delhi), Padmini considers herself a simple girl with a panache for life. Born in the beautiful town of Dibrugarh, she shares a very close relationship with her family and friends. She wishes to give a voice to the never changing stereo-typed ideologies related to gender and put an end to the age old abominable issue of male-over-female domination that is being carried on from one generation to the other, especially in patriarchal societies.
Padmini recently led the Core Group in organising & executing a campus event at the Indraprastha College, University of Delhi as part of the International Women’s Day on 8th March.
