"Bind our wings and put us in separate cages with different ‘rules n regulations’…because we are different. Boys and Girls…and we have to live up to the anticipation of the society and we have to live for it..!! It’s a free society, then why do we jeopardize the it with all the gender stereotypes? Stop judging people by their gender because there’s a lot to them than just the sexes. Abolish this social disaster, gender based violence."
Riya is a first year student of mass communication at Vivekananda Institute Of Professional Studies, (IPU). She is not a bona fide feminist but strives to bring a change in the gender driven thinking of the people. Hence, she joined the Must Bol campaign to grab the opportunity to work against violence by influencing young minds using Social Media. A true workaholic, Riya can engage herself in almost everything be it singing, dancing, acting, speaking or writing. In fact, writing poems has always been a passion for her and also a great stress buster. That is why she took to blogging and content writing along with college.
